Intern at BOMB!

About

Due to the large number of resumes we received, BOMB is no longer accepting applications for Winter/Spring 2012 internships. If you would like to apply for the Summer 2012 semester, starting in mid-May, please follow the instructions below.

BOMB offers unpaid internships in a variety of different fields including editorial, marketing, fundraising, archiving, and blog/new media. We hire on a quarterly basis and interns are expected to work at least four days a week, for a minimum of four months. A BOMB internship is a great way to learn the history and inner workings of a nonprofit arts and literary publication. Past interns have gone on to accept positions in book and magazine publishing as well as art institutions across the country. A few interns have been hired on to stay with BOMB.

All BOMB interns have the opportunity to write for our blog and to help out at numerous parties and events. Interns often receive press passes and complimentary tickets to various performances around New York.

Check out our recap of BOMB’s latest intern field trip here.

If you are interested in applying for an internship at BOMB, please email a resume and cover letter detailing your work experience, along with the type of internship you’d be interested in, and a writing sample (no term papers or poetry, please) to internships at bombsite dot com.
