Can’t get enough of David Lehman? Then come see him present his former student, Tracy K. Smith, at the New School’s Poetry Forum. Winner of of a slew of poetry prizes, including the 2012 Pulitzer, Smith will be reading some of her poems and discussing her work.

For those that missed it at the New York Film Festival, Cristian Mungiu’s new film Beyond the Hills (awarded Best Script as well as Best Actress for both its leads at Cannes this year) is screening at the Lincoln Center as part of their ongoing series New Romanian Cinema.
THURSDAY
Nobuhiko Obayashi will introduce his 1982 film Exchange Students (aka I Are You, You Am Me) at MoMA. This story of a teenage boy and girl exchanging bodies presents a rare chance to discover the work of a director that has yet to receive his fair due in the West.
Come see an installation by BOMBlog artist Elizabeth Hoy at A.I.R. Gallery in Dumbo for their 10th Biennial, curated by Ingrid Schaffner. The opening reception is from 6pm to 9pm.
FRIDAY
C. Spencer Yeh’s Double Features is finally back! This first edition after a year and a half’s break features Title TK and Marco Fusinato, each performing to a film or video work of their choice: for Title TK that means David Fincher’s Facebook flick The Social Network while Fusinato’s is a surprise.
Poets House is hosting a reading by poets Mark Strand, Eduardo C. Corral, Camille Rankine, Malachi Black.

Royal Trux will perform their second album Twin Infinitives in its entirety followed by the band Pigeons at Saint Vitus Bar.
